There are three gorgeous beaches in Altinkum, there is the main beach, where you can sunbathe, try some water sports or rent a pedalo. Second beach is very lively just like the main beach but the third beach is much quieter and more relaxed. Along the main beach is the promenade, where there are many bars, restaurants, cafes, The nearest airport to Altinkum is in Bodrum, it takes around one hour and thirty minutes to get from Bodrum airport into Altinkum. Altinkum is set on a white sandy bay with many lovely hotels on the western Aegean coast of Turkey.
Next to the main beach is a small harbour. All of the boats in the harbour offer cheap daily boat trips with lunch included which normally costs around £10.00 per person and can also include drinks for the day. The boat trips make six stops to different bays and beaches. If there are a large number of people, some boats even offer private boat trips.
