Hotels in Marseilles A main part of the city is the Vieux port where pleasure yachts are kept. The port also has many cafes where you can relax and try some local cuisine. There is a pedestrian area to the south of the port where there are many different cafes, restaurants, bars and hotels. The opera and La Criee, the national theatre can also be found in this area.
